Hah and you though this is about the show, well sort of...
I am really fond of the show Desperate Housewives. The dialogue is something that I enjoy so much because of the wit and humor. For last night's episode, it was about life as "a journey best shared with a partner. That there would always come a time when that partner would have to go and then the journey becomes unbearable for those who were left behind. That the human [being] is built for many things except loneliness." It hits you. Then you realize that indeed "no man is an island." There have been many instances when older single people I know would tell me, "Nagkaanak man lang sana ako", "I wish I had a child." Meaning, it would not have mattered not having a husband or a wife rather someone you could journey with. Then again, I think one can make the journey with loyal friends and a loving family or one can always adopt. There are I think options and all you need is a little creativity. Of course, that is an opinion of someone who is quite a young and naive me.
wla lang just revisiting myself...
