1. The one thing I would delete from the course to make it more meaningful to the student is:

Well, although I appreciate all your inputs and requirements to the core of me, I would like for you to delete the ifs.mdb case as I did not find it as interesting as the decision support case studies.

2. The one thing I would add/change to make the course more meaningful to the student is:

As I want the ifs.mdb removed, there has to be something that would replace it. Please add this topic: Current Trends in IT that are driving the IT industry. Since there are so many areas in IT and therefore so many trends to tackle, perhaps there is a need to zero in on one or two.

Well actually, you did give us one trend: Outsourcing.

Also if it's not too much asking, please add follow-up discussions on the cases, it would really be helpful. I know because I feel a lot of us need one. ;)

3. The things I would keep the same, that made the course meaningful to me, and that future students will find useful are:

• The Blogs - it's a paradigm shift in the making and presenting of reports.
• The Excel/DSS/Scenario Manager case studies - it takes the students one step further in their knowledge of Excel and DSS.
• The Outsourcing Reaction Paper - it made me read some more about the topic because I felt that to comment without even knowing or understanding the meaning of the word is a bad idearrr.
• The Pre and Post Assessment - it made me realize how naive I was of the many things that I have to learn. For instance, in the MS Word Module, I learned of Mail Merge. It was also a chance to brush up on stuff that has been forgotten due to unuse.

It has been fun and informative Sir! I know that as an instructor you'd be happy to know that your student was able to apply some of the inputs you gave. Indeed I did and for that I thank you so much...
