The Flu Got Me or Got Me The Flu

I've been employed in this 'company' for almost 2 years. With all the hassles, pressures, hectic schedules, darn deadlines, this is the only time I've ever got sick to the point of absence. I rarely get sick actually. Thanks to an unbelievably healthy body. When I do get sick it's bed time for me, like I am not allowed to do anything not that I would like to do anything anyway. Last Sunday, my day consisted mostly of texting friends, lying around, drifting off to sleep, waking up, texting again and that's a cycle. *food wasn't even mentioned hehehe* Early in the evening, I realized it was a boring day hah! so I got out my equally boring work *i don't usually bring workload at home* and hammed and hawed on my computer to the tune of assorted mp3s and half blast speakers.

Then my youngest brother came in and scolded me for leaving his cellphone lying around the house. Huh? Why me? It turns out that my mother came upon some green jokes in my brother's cp. Hah! What did she do? She texted the classmates who sent the messages. My other brothers and I didn't want to say anything to Mom as she was on the warpath could only exchange glances and grins.

The next day, not content with what my Mom did, she went to my brother's school to see the Sisters. It turns out that cellphones are not allowed in the campus and that any student caught with one would suffer the consequence of having his or her cellphone confiscated. *OUCH* Can't blame my mom though my brother is a minor and still in high school. Hehehe...

Monday morning found me with my backlog, the laundry. I was absent because I wanted to rest some more but thinking I was okay enough, I did my laundry only be sick again in the early evening. Argghh Tuesday found me reporting for duty with dizzy spells. Ugghh the sheer agony of walking up and down the stairs! However, it wasn't such a bad day at all thanks to this special person who kept on cheering me up as always.

Today, I still don't feel so good but it's a nice day outside so I guess I'll step out of this office sometime today. I could use a little sun to warm me up.

I hope he's in a good mood and that he's fine today... _(",)_
