guimaras is just across the straight from my place, about say a 15 minute boat ride. and I think you'll love the island, its pretty much everything you've described in "road trip"

in cagayan de oro, there's a hanging bridge and you can jump from that bridge into the river tas pag di ka marunong lumangoy (like me) tatangayin ka ng agos. pwede nbang death defying un?
