I love movies but due to a lot of factors I only got to watch three movies, 2 from the MMFF (Enteng Kabisote and Kasal Kasalo Kasali) and 1 foreign (Eragon). Au contrair! I do support the Philippine movie industry. Every year I take time to watch the MMFF.
I appreciate the effort put into Enteng Kabisote. As I was able to follow it's development from the first movie up this one, I was able to see how their treatment of action and cgi and mechanical stuff changed from one movie to the other.
Of both, I appreciated KKK more because of its story and character development. The main characters started from being single who met, decided to get married but soon found out that it's not an easy thing to plan a wedding if there are people who "volunteer help". Finally they did manage to get wed and try living in one roof that is not technically theirs and then soon enough learn that they can't move in "their" house. The story get well complicated with pregnancy and the other woman factor. But alls well that ends well and in the end all you really need to say is a sincere, "Sorry" and a heartfelt "I forgive you."
I know, I know. Relationship martyrs have no room in this crazy world but I think every one deserves a second chance and if you think you can still love and respect your partner after every thing then why not give it another shot? Well that's me the Eternal Hopeless Romantic Fool... ;)
Now Eragon was fun. I felt like I was watching a book with moving characters. I heard comments that it was similar to The Ring but it was not what got me interested. What got me interested was the profile of the author of the book who's only in his early 20's. Cool huh!
weee. eragon! checked the writer's profile, too! christopher paolini is a genius. i think we'll click. haha. basta, i'm eragon-ed, too. trilogy daw kath noh? simple siya, pero rock! ahehe.
