8-8-8

For the rest of the world it's a significant day today coz it's the opening of the Olympics. Wondering how it went is all I can do since I'm trapped in the office most of the week. Hmmm I wish my day were as eventful as the players. It's a Friday and it's utterly boring. Gosh. No date invites. No exciting movie at the cinema. No interesting news. Nada, null, zilch, void. Not even the new book I bought two days ago is working any magic on me. Oh well, it's still 6, anything can still happen from now until I sleep. Who knows I might get luckier haha. ;p *fingers crossed*

Going back to the Olympics. Who has ever heard of opening an event towards the end of the week? Weird eh. However since the host country is China who can argue with that? *smiling* They believe that 8-8-8 is a day hence it's the date of choice for opening the Olympic games. I wish there would be replays of the opening on local tv I certainly would like to see how colorful or interesting the opening numbers were. I hope that luck rubs on the Team Pilipinas.
