My mother had mentioned of going to the beach last week. So the family woke up early to cook our baon for our overnight stay at the beach. Yehaay! I love the beach I can stay in the water even at under the heat of the sun coz I don't mind being getting more tan than tan. What I do mind is the sunburn then again I always make sure I bring with me sunblock afterall, I don't want to report to work next week with burns all over. We again went to this favorite resort at the island from across the place where we live. We love this place because it's cheaper, well maintained and it's not commercial but that was before the new management took over. Heck! I woulnd't mind paying much if I get my money's worth. Too expensive, too little in the form of ammenities. The women's shower and cr did not have lighting. I tell you it was pitch dark when I took a shower after the evening dip while on the other side, you could hear the men talking about this and that while having their shower. The cottages were not the shape they used to be before the new management and to think we had to pay for a cottage with poor lighting. The grounds looked like they could use a lawn mower. Another thing, they removed the tree cottage at the top of the talisay tree which was there for as long as I can remember. Just before graduating from college, me and my college buds had our picture taken on the stairs leading to the tree house. The bamboo boundary supposed to keep the swimmers a reasonable distance from the shore snapped. It was put there because the sea current is strong beyond that point. It was a good thing there was no one there when it happened.
In the early morning, Sis saw a hermit crab which she made into a play thing as she had trouble going back to sleep. It was the most unusual hermit crab that I saw. Gosh it was this huge! See the pictures. We also took pictures of sea urchins, the fishing village near the resort, and some crazy poses I and my brothers could think of. It was so much fun but in the end we still felt cheated. The family decided it was going to be the last time we will set foot on that resort. Time to scout for a new one.
