Heehaw!

The theme for this year's Intramurals is Western. A lot of us are excited about it that during break time, I and some of my colleagues googled for the costumes that we are initially planning to wear. Hmmm this is gonna be fun. I plan on wearing native American costume complete with bow, arrow and dream catcher necklace. I sure hope I could find moccasins.

I so love whipping up my own costumes and wearing them too. Last year the theme was 60's. I wore something inspired by the one pictured here. In my closet I found a turtle neck long sleeved white blouse and a black dress. To this I added thick black stockings and the red boots that I bought for the event. For the red boots D and I had to go to almost all of the flea markets around the city before D spotted it. For accessories, I wore a wide metallic bracelet that had vintage designs on it, big hoop earrings, 60s hairstyle, and of course 60's makeup.

We had such fun last year specially with the costumes. Almost all of the faculty members performed at the Mr. and Ms. Intramurals night -- of course so we could show off our costumes. I was part of the group that sang 60's medley of songs. There's a picture of me somewhere in my PC and I'm too lazy looking for it. Now I wonder how it's gonna work out for me this year. For one, I don't intend on performing as I cannot attend to practices since my extra time is spent on preparing for (hopefully) the last comprehensive exam I have to take.
