9°10′N 124°43′E

Last April 2012 I went with my good friend Jet and her family/extended family to Camiguin Island coordinates 9°10′N 124°43′E. These are the sanitized pictures (less of us around) courtesy of Jet Sy.

This one is really fascinating. You might think these are flowers but really they are cactuses. This is the first time I've seen a cactus that looks like a flower.

This is a view of Mt. Hibok-hibok and Mt. Vulcan from the outrigger canoe we were on to get to White Island. Those two are actually volcanoes.

These outrigger canoes are the mode of transportation going to White Island and back again to Camiguin Island.

This is a view of White Island from the balcony of the house we rented. White Island is actually a sand bar in the shape of the letter C. When there is a low tide, you can easily walk the whole stretch tip to tip.

The cross is the marker to where the famous sunken cemetery lies. The gravestones are underwater. If it weren't so hot that day, I wonder if we would have dared to take a dip. I dunno about my companions but I would. I'm a very curious person.

This one of the ruins of the Spanish fort that was erected in this area to watch out for pirates. I did hear one of the locals say this was supposed to be taller. I guess the years have taken it's toll.

This is Katibawasn Falls. It would have been an experience if I was able to take a dip in these waters but it was super cold.

Who doesn't love sunset photos? Brent from my G+ circle said this would be even more wonderful on a frame and hung on the wall. Hmmm I just might take his advice but gotta ask Jet for permission first. I'm sure she won't mind.
