One of the things that I have trouble with, empathy. There are times when I just don't know what to do or what to say.
Today a good friend emailed me telling me that a family member has been taken ill and is in a coma. I have read and re read his email. Yes there are words but I can't somehow pick the right words to form a coherent message so as not to sound cheesy. I guess that is the trouble with meeting people virtually. So I guess I'll just give him a virtual hug.
But I welcome the email because it gave me a break from my own sadness.
