Son of a Bigot

I detest religious extremism. I detest people who quote scriptural text to justify their wrongdoings. While I believe in 'Spare the rod spoil the child' it's not the same as severe beating. That amounts to abuse in my book. As in the case in the accompanying article above of the preacher beating his wife and kids and later teaching the elder siblings to beat the young ones 'properly'.
