Every time I hear the following lines from the movie A Secret Affair,
“Ano bang tingin mo sa mga lalaki? Bulate….may pa-early bird promo, early bird catches the worm?”
“Kaya kabit ang tawag sa kanila kasi daig pa nila ang epoxy kung kumabit, kaya kerida kasi mga kiri, kaya mistress kasi nakaka stress.”
“Ano bang akala mo sa mga pambababae, parang flash floods na kapag tumila ang ulan ay huhupa ang baha. Lumikas ka na habang maaga bago mag critical level.”
I would like to puke myself to oblivion. I mean really? Seriously? Are there no other better lines out there? Conversations that are well thought, witty, something that can make you say, "Wow, what an exchange!" Tsk tsk.
Hence you can't blame me for not watching my fair share of local movies or local tv shows and this is not being unpatriotic.
