Computer Science is close to my heart as most of you already know. This article talks about the education program that the Estonian government will implement. That is to teach kids early on about computer science. This is a bold yet wonderful move. CS is a vast field that has many areas of application that can still be exploited. An example of such field is Artificial Intelligence.
I wish something like this is being done here. We should reinforce science and technology and maths in our education system so that our younger generation will be at par with their peers around the world. Hopefully in this K to 12 thing the education department has implemented we will produce great products.
