A friend who is a former student now working in the Middle East sent me a PM telling me of her problem. Her beloved sibling has a rare form of cancer. I was stunned. I used to be someone who can just say, "Pray that things will become well." I am not a believer anymore. So I just said, "Be strong for your brother and family. Hope springs eternal."
